Privacy policy

Version: Wrist Dope Store Privacy Policy version 1.0 (2026-10-03). Effective October 3, 2026.

This policy describes how Musket Holdings LLC, an Idaho limited liability company doing business as Wrist Dope ("Wrist Dope," "we," "us," "our"), handles personal information in connection with the online store at shop.wristdope.com (the "Store"). It applies to the Store only. The Wrist Dope app and the wristdope.com website are covered by the privacy policy at wristdope.com/privacy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide.

Name, email address, phone number if you give it, and shipping and billing addresses.
Order and purchase details, including the products ordered, prices paid, and payment and shipping status.
The record of your acceptance of the Terms of Sale (the version accepted and the date and time of acceptance), saved with your order.
Customer account details, if you choose to create an account.
Email addresses submitted for back-in-stock notifications or for marketing email.
Communications you send us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Store, cookies, pixels and similar technologies collect device and browsing information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages and products viewed, items added to cart, referring pages, and approximate location derived from IP address. These technologies are set by Shopify and by Meta Platforms, Inc. (see Section 4).

Payment information. Checkout and payment are provided by Shopify (Shopify Payments and Shop Pay). We do not receive full payment card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to operate the Store and our business, including to:

process, fulfil, ship and support orders, and send order-related communications;
maintain customer accounts and the order records described in the Terms of Sale;
send back-in-stock notifications and marketing email you have signed up for;
respond to your communications;
advertise our products and measure advertising (see Section 4);
analyze and improve the Store, our products and our business;
detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents;
comply with law, enforce our terms and policies, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
and for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.

3. Who receives information

Personal information is received by the following categories of third parties:

Shopify, which hosts the Store and provides checkout, payments, analytics and related services. Shopify's privacy policy is at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Payment processors, including Shopify Payments and Shop Pay.
Shipping carriers and fulfilment providers.
App and service providers that run Store features, such as STOQ (back-in-stock notifications) and email delivery providers.
Meta Platforms, Inc., through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, for advertising, ad measurement, retargeting and audience building (see Section 4).
Professional advisers, such as accountants, insurers and lawyers.
Government authorities, courts and other parties, where required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Wrist Dope, our customers or others.
A successor or acquirer, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.

We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Cookies, advertising and your choices

Third-party collection. Third parties, including Shopify and Meta, use cookies, web beacons, pixels and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on the Store and on other websites and apps over time, to provide analytics and measurement services and to target advertising. Through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Meta receives information about your activity on the Store, such as pages and products viewed, items added to cart, and purchases, and may combine it with information Meta already holds about you. Meta's use of that information is governed by Meta's own policies.

How to opt out.

Use the "Your privacy choices" link in the Store footer (shop.wristdope.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out) to opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising. That page also honors the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out where applicable law requires it.
Adjust your ad preferences in the settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.
Opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at www.aboutads.info/choices.
Set your browser to block or delete cookies. Some Store features may not work without them.

Do Not Track. The Store does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

5. Marketing email

If you sign up for marketing email, we may send you marketing messages by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing legal@wristdope.com. Unsubscribing does not stop order-related and other non-marketing communications.

6. Children

The Store is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including for legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution and fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Security

We use measures intended to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of any information.

9. Where we operate

We operate from the United States, ship only within the United States, and process personal information in the United States. Our service providers may process information in other countries where they operate.

10. Your rights and choices

To the extent required by applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to opt out of certain uses or disclosures of it (including targeted advertising), to appeal a decision we make about a request, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To review your information, request changes, or make any other request, email legal@wristdope.com. We may require you to verify your identity before responding. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf if the agent provides proof of your written authorization and we are able to verify your identity. We respond to requests as applicable law requires.

11. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy at any time. Changes are posted on this page with a new version line and effective date.

12. Terms of Sale

Purchases from the Store are governed by the Terms of Sale at shop.wristdope.com/policies/terms-of-service. Any dispute relating to the Store or to this policy is governed by the Terms of Sale, including their arbitration and class-action waiver provisions.
